Gian Piero Gasperini has no intention of pulling the plug.

The Giallorossi coach continues to hope for Champions League qualification, and in the meantime, he’s thinking about next season’s schedule.

Several issues remain unresolved, such as the appointment of a sporting director.

The Giallorossi coach doesn’t want to be caught off guard.

According to “Te La Do Io Tokyo” on Teleradiostereo, the coach has reportedly asked the Friedkins for an urgent meeting, not via video call.

Gasperini is left alone at Trigoria. Ranieri has been dismissed, Ed Shipley has left the capital, and Frederic Massara is increasingly at risk.

The coach, working with the Friedkins, wants to establish the foundations for the Roma of the future as soon as possible. From logistical issues, such as the dates and location of the summer retreat, to the technical aspects of choosing a sporting director and managing the transfer budget, the coach wants to accelerate on several fronts.

Dan Friedkin was supposed to return to Rome in recent weeks to resolve the Ranieri issue, but his return has been postponed. Now, however, a return is inevitable if Roma hopes to build a competitive team in the near future.
