The CIES Football Observatory has published its latest update on the market values of the world’s top talent, confirming Wesley’s impact.
The Roma player is ranked sixth among the most valuable players in the Italian league, with an estimated value between €50 and €58 million.
This figure reflects the Brazilian’s consistent performance, having become a key element in Gian Piero Gasperini’s tactical setup this season.
In the special ranking compiled by the CIES, Wesley is preceded only by Kenan Yildiz, at the top with a valuation between €122 million and €141 million, Rasmus Hojlund (€91 million-€106 million), Pio Esposito (€88 million-€103 million), Santiago Castro (€61 million-€71 million), and Pavlovic (€51 million-€59 million).
The season’s statistics confirm that financial value mirrors the reality on the pitch: the Brazilian’s incisiveness has often dictated the tempo of the Giallorossi’s play, highlighting the difference in the team’s performances between matches played with him and those without him.
