With the transfer window just a month away, there are already several names circulating within Roma’s orbit.
With players on loan, others whose contracts are expiring, and others who aren’t convincing Gian Piero Gasperini, the upcoming summer will be full of changes at Trigoria.
In midfield, as reported by Leggo, Roma are aiming to bring in a quality and experienced midfielder to partner one of Koné, Cristante, El Aynaoui, or Pisilli.
The two hot names at the moment are Koke and Kessié.
The former, currently playing for Atletico Madrid and playing in last night’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Arsenal, recently turned 34 and will be released from the Colchoneros for free this summer.
The same goes for the Ivorian midfielder, formerly of AC Milan, who will be among the free agents starting this summer.
The 29-year-old current Al-Ahli player was also linked with Roma last summer, but a series of complications caused the deal to fall through. Who knows, perhaps the deal will finally come to fruition in the upcoming transfer window.
