Artem Dovbyk is now close to returning to action.

The Ukrainian striker, recovering from a myotendinous injury to his left thigh, has been sidelined for four months and returned to training with the team this week to try to secure at least a call-up for Sunday’s derby against Lazio at 12:00 PM.

According to today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, the former Girona player will play his final two games for the Giallorossi before packing his bags.

Should an offer of at least €20 million arrive, the club would not object to his departure, and they had already come very close to parting ways last winter, but the injury at Lecce put a stop to any such move.

Napoli, Fenerbahce, and Everton had already made their bid for the Ukrainian, but other European clubs could also come knocking on Roma’s door again this summer.
