Daniele De Rossi was unable to stop Allegri’s AC Milan, who lost 2-1 to Genoa in front of their home fans.
After the match, the Genoa coach, speaking to DAZN, congratulated Roma for winning the derby: “I’m happy for them; the derby is always a tough match.”
“It was the biggest obstacle in their quest for the Champions League,” he added.
“They’ve had a great season, and I’m happy they’ve put their heads forward for the final push, which is incredibly exciting.”
