As the summer transfer window approaches, Roma is intensifying its market research to strengthen its squad and give Gasperini an increasingly competitive team.

Specifically, the Giallorossi are aiming to strengthen their attack and midfield, seeking players capable of providing quality and immediate tactical solutions.

Among the most sought-after attacking targets is Porto’s Pepê, a Brazilian striker born in 1997, capable of playing on both the right and left flanks and also adaptable as a winger.

Last season, he made 48 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing six assists.

In midfield, Roma are said to be pursuing Sven Mijnans, born in 2000 and captain of AZ Alkmaar, who is coming off an extraordinary season with 21 goals and 9 assists in 50 games across the Eredivisie, the domestic cup, and the Conference League.

Dutch portal Voetbalprimeur.nl reports that, in addition to the Roman club, Bologna are among the most interested teams, while AC Milan have also set their sights on the midfielder.

This would represent a rekindled interest for the Giallorossi: Mijnans was already being pursued last summer.

The player’s value is around €15 million, a figure that could allow Roma to secure a midfielder ready for a step up in quality.
