Roma is preparing to get to the heart of the matter regarding contract renewals, a matter considered a priority by the club ahead of next season.
Among the most heated issues is inevitably that of Paulo Dybala, with discussions between the parties reportedly continuing steadily in the last few hours.
According to Il Tempo, the Giallorossi’s official proposal for La Joya has been on the table for around ten days: a new contract worth €2-2.5 million per season plus bonuses tied to appearances, performance, and team objectives.
This offer demonstrates Roma’s desire to continue their journey with the Argentine, who is considered an important player in the technical project and the dressing room, especially in the coming seasons.
Ryan Friedkin, who is currently in discussions with the player’s entourage and in constant contact with the former Juventus player’s agent, is said to be directly managing the deal.
The parties could meet again by the end of the week to try to move closer to a deal.
For his part, Dybala has always prioritized remaining in the capital. Roma’s return to the Champions League is also a key factor in the negotiations: European qualification has strengthened their mutual desire to continue together and brought the agreement significantly closer.
