Matias Soulé’s future at Roma is in the balance.

The Argentine winger has had a mixed season: an excellent first half with important goals and assists, but a groin problem in the second half of the season has slowed his progress.

The Giallorossi appear intent on selling the 2003-born player to comply with the settlement agreement with UEFA by June 30th. In short, a substantial capital gain is needed.

This is why Soulé is reportedly considering offers around €40 million, €20 million of which would be needed to secure a deal with European football’s governing body.

As reported by Repubblica, in recent days the Argentine winger’s agent has been in contact with Gasperini’s entourage, who are working on the sporting side of things, with Morrow, a financial executive, observing the matter with interest.

The signal is clear: the Giallorossi must sell the 2003-born player, but official offers will be needed, which have not yet arrived at Trigoria. Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Borussia Dortmund, and Stuttgart have all set their sights on the player.
