Roma is working on several fronts in these final hours of the transfer market.

From the Oosterwolde deal, awaiting a response from Fenerbahce following the Giallorossi’s proposed change of format, to the suggestion of selling El Aynaoui and snubbing Juventus by bringing Kessié to the capital, to the main objective: strengthening the attack.

D’Amico would like to satisfy Gasperini’s request for a right-footed left winger to complete a unit currently without a player capable of bursting through the wing, a true arrow.

This is why the Roman club is targeting Malick Fofana. Yesterday, Lyon was eliminated from the Champions League by Fenerbahce, a defeat that represents a serious financial loss for the French club, who will now have to make some sales.

For Roma, it’s a make-or-break moment for Malick Fofana. If it were up to Gasperini, he’d coach him as soon as possible to have an additional attacking option.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the 2005-born player’s price tag before the Champions League elimination, a match in which the Belgian also scored a stunning goal, was €30 million plus €5 million in bonuses, and could drop in the next few hours.

The French club absolutely must sell; other clubs besides Roma are interested in the player. The agents had given priority to the Giallorossi, but the transfer market is unpredictable.
