José Mourinho has closed the door on Endrick to Roma. In the pre-match press conference against the Giallorossi, the “Special One” ruled out a loan move for the Brazilian striker.
Interviewed by TNT Sport Brasil, Mourinho took a clear stance on the player, who is on the fringes of his Madrid project but confirmed at least until next summer.
The Blancos coach gave a brief statement to fans hoping for the former Lyon player’s arrival at Trigoria in January: “There’s no chance he’ll leave on loan in January, forget it. I trust Endrick, I adore him.”
Endrick’s name is no stranger to the Giallorossi news: after being linked in the summer, the Brazilian’s name had resurfaced for a January move. But the Portuguese coach’s words complicate this possibility considerably.
