Spanish outlet Don Balon has reported that Roma will not purchase defender Thomas Vermaelen.
Reportedly, the Belgian, who has missed nearly two months with a groin injury, has made only a handful of appearances for Roma this season, which has dissatisfied the Giallorossi, who will gladly send the player back to Barcelona.
