Monchi to Roma has always seemed like a certainty. However, in recent days, major publications such as L’Equipe have left some suggesting that other clubs are in for the Spaniard director.
Today, though, an official at AS Roma, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed exclusively to RomaPress that the passage of Monchi to the club is already complete:
“Yes, the agreement is already there with Monchi for three years. The delay? Diplomacy. Monchi wanted to ensure a clean break from Sevilla and he wanted to pay the appropriate homage and respect to the club and the fans.”
