Oliver Arthur, the agent of Godfred Donsah, spoke to FcInterNews about his client and conceded that the midfielder drew the interest of Roma:

For Bologna, he was unsellable and perhaps the Giallorossi could not formulate an economic offer that would change the minds of the Rossoblu.”
