Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon spoke to Sky Sport following the Bianconeri’s elimination at the hands of Real Madrid and compliment Roma on their dismantling of Barcelona.
“I was delighted for Italian football, we showed our mentality. I want to congratulate Roma and the Roma players because they got me excited and they proudly represented us and all of Italy. I would like them to go all the way and succeed in winning the Champions League. Hopefully this is something new but sustainable for Italian football.”
