BBC journalist David Ornstein appeared on the Arsecast podcast today and was asked about the English side’s interest in Roma sporting director Ramon Monchi. These are his words:
“I don’t know this for a fact but I have been told by a few people that he is (Raul) Sanllehi’s first choice and Emery’s first choice. One person even told me it’s a done deal, but I don’t know that for a fact. And it’s not strong enough information for me to report it.”
