La commissione urbanistica (town planning commission) of Rome’s Municipality IX have expressed a unanimous opionion in favor of the Grancio-Fassino resolution, which was presented last February by former Movimento 5 Stelle adviser Cristina Grancio and colleague Stefano Fassina, for the Stadio della Roma. The resolution calls for the cancellation of the public interest in regards to the stadium. Centro Suono Sport reports that the measure will be taken directly to the municipality for a vote, meaning further delays are expected for the project.
