Lorenzo Pellegrini has made it clear: he wants to stay at Roma. La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that the Giallorossi midfielder is keen on remaining at Trigoria and is eyeing a new contract and perhaps removing the buyout clause, which is present in his current contract. Pellegrini’s current contract expires in 2022 but he, reportedly, is eyeing a new one and is interested in extending his contract for an additional season, with higher wages of course, and potentially removing the buyout clause. Once Petrachi is officially confirmed, the youngster will sit down to discuss this possibility and hopes to even be made vice-captain to Alessandro Florenzi.
