Within the last hours, contact has intensified between Gianluca Petrachi and Mario Giuffredi, the agent of the Fiorentina midfielder. There is optimism within Roma that they can successfully close the operation for the 26 year-old and beat Milan in the race for the player. Should the Giallorossi fail in their pursuit, their “Plan B” comes in the form of Amadou Diawara, who Napoli have offered in talks for Kostas Manolas. However, Roma first want to see if they can close for Jordan Veretout before focusing on Diawara.
