Sky Sport has reported that Gregoire Defrel’s proposed move to Cagliari has collapsed. A disagreement over method of payment emerged earlier today and the two clubs have been unable to overcome this hurdle. The Frenchman has drawn interest both in Italy and abroad – it remains to be seen where his future lies. Fonseca has made it clear Defrel is not in his plans so Roma will be keen to find a new buyer soon.
