Paulo Fonseca’s men claimed another pre-season friendly victory as Roma defeated Lille 3-2 at the Stade Pierre Mauroy in France.
The Giallorossi conceded the opening goal early in the first half but responded rather quickly in the opening minutes of the second half to grab a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Cengiz Ünder and Nicolo Zaniolo. Lille’s Luiz Araujo drew the affair level in the 73rd minute before Bryan Cristante grabbed the winning goal at the death in the 90th minute to hand Roma an away friendly victory.
