Roma have been dealt another injury blow just two matches into their campaign. Davide Zappacosta was injured during the warm-up before the Derby on Sunday and was unable to participate in the match. The Italian underwent medical examinations today, which showed a small lesion in his left calf. Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo reports that the injury will keep Zappacosta out for 3-4 weeks.
The Giallorossi’s calendar is packed following this week’s international break and includes clash against Sassuolo on 15 September, Basaksehir on 19 September, and Bologna on 22 September.
