Former Shakhtar Donetsk boss Mircea Lucescu spoke today to Tuttomercatoweb and discussed Roma’s acquisition of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whom he managed while at the Ukrainian side.
“Mkhitaryan is one of the players I love most. He’s very clever, he adapts to all styles of play and has exceptional endurance”, he said.
“I had him play behind the striker but in England he was used in positions that weren’t his. He’ll be a first choice player at Roma in no time”.
