Amadou Diawara was not the only Roma player who went under the knife today. Roma announced Edin Dzeko underwent surgery this morning to repair two fractured cheekbones suffered during yesterday’s draw 1-1 with Cagliari. During the surgery one of these fractures was treated manually, while the other required the insertion of a small plate with screws.
