After having lost Nicolo Zaniolo for the remainder of the season, Roma are looking for a replacement for their starlet, who today underwent successful surgery to repair his torn ACL.
Sky Sport reports that one of the names the Giallorossi were interested in was Liverpool’s Xherdan Shaqiri. The English side, though, rebuffed Roma’s approach for the former Bayern Munich man.
The Giallorossi were, reportedly, interested in bringing the player on loan — however, the Reds informed Roma that there is no chance of this happening.
