Sky Sport has reported this afternoon that Roma and Inter are continuing their negotiations for a Leonardo Spinazzola-Matteo Politano swap.
Reportedly, Politano will not even be on the bench for Antonio Conte tonight in Inter‘a Coppa Italia match against Cagliari tonight at San Siro. It’s a new and important sign of how close the transfer is — talks are now too far advanced to risk sending him on the pitch.
Some details still need to be ironed out, but Roma and Inter are moving forward to try and finalise the operation, with possible developments expected today.
