Bryan Reynolds set to join Juve

RomaPress Staff

Bryan Reynolds is set to join Juventus after the Bianconeri saw off competition from Roma and Brugge for the signature of the young defender.

Taylor Twellman of ESPN reports  that the American fullback will not be joining the Giallorossi from FC Dallas when the transfer market reopens in the coming days.

Roma had initially opened talks with MLS and Reynold’s representatives in late November when club President and Vice President, Dan and Ryan Friedkin, returned to the United States for the Thanksgiving holiday.

After several weeks of negotiations, there was the belief that Roma would close the deal for the 19 year-old during the winter break, however, the Giallorossi weren’t able to find an agreement with Reynold’s agent or MLS.

Following a meeting between Ryan Friedkin, Reynold’s family and representatives on Christmas Eve, there was no follow-up dialogue between the parties and the club pulled-out of the deal.
