Roma remain interested in acquiring Milik on free transfer

RomaPress Staff

The future of Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik remains a mystery.

Calciomercato.it reports that the Partenopei recently rejected two offers from Marseille and Atletico Madrid for the Polish international, who has been frozen out of the team this season.

The Spanish side offered €6-€7 million for the former Ajax striker, however, it was rejected by Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who has slapped a €15 million price tag on the player.

Napoli have already informed the player that the two offers were rejected as it’s looking increasingly possible that Milik could miss the entire season and depart the club for free.

Should Milik not leave Napoli this month, Roma will do all they can to acquire him on a free transfer after their pursuit of him in the summer failed. Though, they will also face competition from Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
