The countdown is on for The Special One’s first official press conference to begin. Roma’s new technician will address the media at 13.30 Italian time in a beautiful location overlooking the city of Rome, Terrazza Caffarelli. The Friedkins will be present, however they are not expected to speak. Tiago Pinto will also make an appearance along with a special guest.
Indeed, Sky Sport report that famous football agent Jorge Mendes is currently on his way to Rome to attend Mourinho’s press conference and more. More, because the agent will meet with Pinto to discuss the team’s plans in the transfer market.
More specifically, Mendes and Pinto plan on closing the deal for Rui Patricio who will become Roma’s new shot-stopper for the 21/22 campaign. The deal is expected to be completed within the end of the week for a fee of €10 million + 3 in add-ons. Wolverhampton, on the other hand, have already found their substitute goal-keeper: José Sá of Olympiakos.
