Considering Fiorentina’s struggles in renewing their star attacker Dusan Vlahovic, Rocco Commisso’s club has begun their search for Vlahovic’s replacement for the future.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina have intensified their interest in Borja Mayoral, currently out-of-favor with Mourinho and lacking consistent playing time at Roma.
Fiorentina are reportedly in talks with Mayoral’s parent, Real Madrid, over a potential deal in June 2022.
Thus, all signs point to Roma not making the deal permanent for the Spanish forward at the end of this campaign.
