Former Milan player Clarence Seedorf spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport ahead of the Derby della Madonnina.
He shared his thoughts on Mourinho’s decision to join Roma and his fit in the Italian capital going forward.
“For the first time Mourinho has taken on a team that has not always been at the top. It’s interesting.”
He added:
“It is a choice to be respected and he must be given time.”
When asked what could have spurred Mourinho to sign with Roma, Seedorf answered:
“If he did it, it is because he has the right motivations.”
