Roma continue to work on player exits with additional effort directed at the situation revolving around players excluded from the club’s plans earlier in the summer of 2021.
The capital club – reports Italian journalist Nicolo Schira – are negotiating terms for Davide Santon’s contract termination. Roma are reportedly trying to reach an agreement with the full-back’s entourage regarding the ‘buonuscita’ (the equivalent of severance pay).
Rumors of a move abroad for the Italian defender have died down recently, but it looks like the Giallorossi will keep pushing for Santon’s premature exit given that his contract is set to expire in June.
