Jordan Veretout’s recent drop in form has put him on the forefront of several rumors linking him with an exit from the Italian capital, potentially involving him in a swap with Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele.
His agent, Mario Giuffredi, spoke to calciomercato.it and denied any rumors of an exit in January and reaffirmed his client’s willingness to continue to work under Jose Mourinho.
“I categorically deny these rumors [of a Ndombele-Veretout swap with Tottenham]. He will stay at Roma at least until the end of the season,” said Giuffredi.
He added, “Mourinho is The Special One. He’s a great individual.”
