Earlier today General Manager Tiago Pinto met with Bryan Cristante’s agent – Beppe Riso – at Trigoria, reports Sky Sport.
The meeting was held in order to hold preliminary discussions regarding the midfielder’s future at the club given that his contract is set to expire in 2024.
Cristante is very happy at Roma, however, both parties feel that his future must be determined in the coming months. The meeting was used as an opportunity to present Roma’s tactical necessities going forward as well as the plans and personal ambitions of the 27-year-old.
The capital club are willing to analyze the role of Cristante in Roma’s long-term project. The Giallorossi are expected to do the same for several other players before the end of the season.
