The Giallorossi are monitoring 23-year-old Djordje Mihailović of MLS club Montréal, reports from France claim.
According to sports outlet jeunesfooteux, Roma are among several teams interested in the talented trequartista who collected 35 appearances last season, scoring four goals and finishing with fourteen assists.
The player has drawn the attention of other Italian clubs including Bologna and Atalanta.
However, the young American is also pursued by European clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Everton, Newcastle, Leeds and OGC Nice.
The midfielder’s contract with Montréal is set to expire in 2023. The reported price-tag is of around €8 million.
