With Gianluca Mancini making a preemptive return to the capital from international duty, only three other Roma players remain with the Italian national team at Coverciano. Namely Pellegrini, Zaniolo and Cristante.
The latter two are likely going to be fielded from the first minute by boss Roberto Mancini in Italy’s last playoff match against Turkey, reports La Repubblica.
Zaniolo is expected to lead the attack alongside Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori.
Meanwhile, Cristante will feature in a three-man midfield with Sandro Tonali and Matteo Pessina.
