Roma legend Bruno Conti has been one of the more vocal supporters of Lorenzo Pellegrini, ever since the captain returned to the capital from his spell at Sassuolo back in the summer of 2017.
Recently, Conti was interviewed by Il Mattino and shared his opinion on a variety of subject matters ranging from the Italian national team to his memories of Diego Armando Maradona.
Conti was also asked specifically to name the players in today’s age that excite him the most, to which the legend replied:
“My answer does not only depend on the special bond that I share with him on a personal level, but it’s hard not to be in awe when you’re watching Roma’s captain Lorenzo Pellegrini.”
