Roma loanee Gonzalo Villar picked up his form in recent weeks after an unconvincing start at Getafe following a January switch from the capital.
The 24-year-old midfielder gave two very convincing performances against Athletic Bilbao and most recently against Mallorca where he collected the game-winning assist for Borja Mayoral’s pivotal goal.
The Spanish club elected Villar player of the month for March in a recent announcement.
Villar’s dry loan will come to an end in June and the player will return to the capital, eager to understand what the future may hold for him.
