Gonzalo Villar is close to moving away from Roma once again after completing his loan spell at Getafe.
The Spanish midfielder did not convince José Mourinho in the 21/22 campaign and chose to look for more playing time elsewhere.
Unfortunately for the 24-year-old, Getafe proved to be a difficult challenge, with Villar only making nine appearances in total.
Now, Il Secolo XIX reports that Sampdoria – who had already shown interest in the ex-Elche man in January – have once again inquired about Villar’s availability this summer.
