Roma are working to secure the services of Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi with whom the club have an agreement in place for next season.
According to Alessandro Austini of Il Tempo, Tiago Pinto is about to meet with Giuseppe Riso – Frattesi’s agent – to try and find an agreement with Sassuolo.
The Neroverdi value Frattesi at around €30 million, whereas Roma are expected to pay around €22-23 million since they hold 30% of Frattesi’s resale value.
Frattesi’s agent will try and mediate between the two sides, hoping to reach an agreement for around €25 million with eventual bonuses.
The Giallorossi want to call-up Frattesi for preseason in Portugal, scheduled for July 12th. However, Sassuolo are expected to put up a fight through the next stages of negotiations.
