Roma are edging closer to offering Nicolò Zaniolo a contract renewal that would ultimately help dismiss recent transfer rumours and reaffirm the young attacker’s place at the center of the club’s project.
According to Sky Sport, Tiago Pinto held an interlocutory meeting on Thursday with Claudio Vigorelli – Zaniolo’s agent – which is going to be one of the several meetings the parties are scheduled to hold throughout the next month.
The meeting served to lay the necessary groundwork for more discussions which will follow in September.
The capital club hope to find an agreement within the next month for Zaniolo’s long-awaited extension until 2027.
