Justin Kluivert’s transfer to newly promoted Premier League side Fulham has officially been called off given the difficulties in securing a work permit for the Dutch attacker.
As reported by Sky Sport, Fulham have communicated to Roma that there is no more time to resolve the bureaucratic situation that would allow Kluivert to join the English club.
After the FA blocked his arrival earlier today, the clubs awaited a report with the hope of resolving the situation before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
Roma will now need to find alternative destination for the ex-Ajax man in less than 36 hours, otherwise the Dutch attacker risks being frozen out until the January window.
