Atalanta attacker Duvan Zapata is expected to be out for a prolonged period of time with an injury to the hamstring in his left thigh.
According to Il Corriere di Bergamo, the Colombian striker will miss around a month action, and thus will not take part in the big match against Roma on September 18th.
Zapata suffered the injury during the team’s 3-1 mid-week win over Torino. His absence will effectively force manager Gian Piero Gasperini to rely on Luis Muriel to replace him in his starting formation.
