To make matters worse after a disappointing night of European football, Roma are closely monitoring the situation around Zeki Celik’s injury.

Less than five minutes into tonight’s match, Celik was forced to exit the pitch after a contrast with fellow teammate Gianluca Mancini.

As reported by Andrea Di Carlo of La Repubblica, Roma’s initial diagnosis is a heavy sprain in the defender’s right knee. In his post-match press conference, Mourinho did not sound confident about Celik’s status.

The player is expected to undergo further tests in the coming hours.
