Former Roma captain and club legend Daniele De Rossi is being considered for a coaching position in Serie B with SPAL.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, SPAL are likely to part ways with Roberto Venturato after a 2-0 loss to Frosinone.
SPAL president Jose Tacopina is personally involved in talks with De Rossi’s entourage as the 39-year-old is eager to begin his coaching career after being linked with Bologna and Sampdoria earlier in the month.
If confirmed, De Rossi would leave his post as technical staff advisor to Roberto Mancini with the Italian national team.
