Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio were dealt a huge blow in yesterday’s scoreless draw at the Stadio Olimpico with Udinese as their striker Ciro Immobile was forced off the pitch after picking up an injury.
According to Il Tempo, the injury is more serious than initially expected and the Italian forward may be looking at a return in 2023.
Immobile is yet to undergo all the required medical checks but the likelihood of seeing him in the crucial Derby della Capitale on November 6th are very slim at this moment in time.
