Former Inter president Massimo Moratti – a close personal friend of Mourinho’s since their treble-winning collaboration in Milan – spoke about the Special One’s ability to immerse himself in Roma’s reality as the club continue to operate under the watchful eye of UEFA and FFP regulations.
“Jose is now working in a club that cannot satisfy every need of his, where he can’t ask all of the players that he might want.”
“Roma must still be mindful of the balance sheet,” Moratti explained in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Jose has adapted very well to Roma’s reality, which I think is an experience he enjoys quite a bit,” Moratti concluded.
