After having his ban reduced from three to two Europa League games by UEFA, Nicolo Zaniolo is looking to contribute in tonight’s crucial showdown with Ludogorets at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The 23-year-old was able to recover in time given the recent knock to the thigh suffered in Roma’s last outing in Verona. Zaniolo’s status had been questionable, but in the end he took part in yesterday’s group training session.
According to Il Tempo, however, we are likely to see Zaniolo come off the bench tonight, with Stephan El Shaarawy replacing him in the attack.
