Roma defender Roger Ibanez was asked to comment on the team’s initial difficulties in the first half to tonight’s victory at the Stadio Olimpico vs Ludogorets.
“We played man-to-man, just the coach instructed us to and we came out victorious,” he told reporters after the final whistle.
“We’ll find a way to get back our energy levels for the derby. We’re used to playing every three days by now. We must recover as soon as possible for Sunday.”
“The World Cup? I’m focused on Roma. I’m here to work as hard as I can. If I go the World Cup, then I’ll be happy, but right now my focus is on Roma.”
