Lorenzo Pellegrini underwent medical tests earlier this morning at Trigoria to assess the extent of his injury following his forced substitution in last night’s defeat with Lazio.
The tests have revealed a grade one injury to the flexor muscle in the player’s right leg.
Pellegrini will therefore miss the remaining games before the international break and return to the pitch in the New Year.
