Bryan Cristante was forced to leave Coverciano earlier this morning and thus quit the national team. The Roma midfielder will not take part in Italy’s friendly due to medical reasons.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Cristante will undergo hand surgery on the wrist he injured a few weeks ago.
The plastic cast Cristante wore in recent games has caused the inflammation to increase and as a result, surgery is urgently needed.
